Juniorettes

Juniorettes are middle school and high school age students, working together to meet the needs of their communities through volunteer service projects. GFWC Juniorette clubs are sponsored by GFWC general clubs and must have an adult advisor to serve as a liaison between the two clubs.

For over 30 years, GFWC Juniorettes have sharpened their leadership skills and put their idealism to work in projects that benefit children, families, and communities.

They are intelligent, energetic, enthusiastic and talented young adults committed to community service
and to self development. This age group is concerned about the issues facing themselves, their families,
their communities and the world in which they live. A Juniorette Club affords the perfect opportunity for
them to learn and to grow, as well as, a place to put their ideas into action.

Juniorettes can work on all the projects and programs available in each GFWC Department and Division or they may develop ones that fit their needs and desires more closely. They can participate in the fine arts competitions, attend county, district and state functions and complete their own fund raising projects. The GFWC Juniorettes Manual is available through Headquarters and contains sample invitations, agendas for the first three meetings, permission forms, medical information forms, and sample bylaws.
